A top engineering student at the University of Kansas, she began her career as a civil engineer, where problem-solving, collaboration, and precision were essential. She later worked as a project manager for a land development company in Houston, helping plan and establish neighborhoods within Kingwood, a premier master-planned community.
Her professional experience extends beyond engineering. Elise has managed all aspects of a family-owned U-pick pecan business, giving her hands-on insight into operations, entrepreneurship, and customer service. Before relocating to Colorado, Elise was a real estate agent in Kansas City, where she was recognized as Newcomer of the Year in her first year—an early reflection of her dedication and results-driven mindset.
Beyond real estate, Elise is deeply committed to community impact. Since moving to Denver, she has volunteered with Urban Peak, The Trevor Project, and CASA of Jefferson & Gilpin Counties, demonstrating her passion for advocacy and service.
Curt brings decades of experience in education, analysis, and service to the real estate process. After 25 years as a middle and high school educator, Curt transitioned into real estate with a deep appreciation for guiding people through complex, meaningful decisions. A James Madison Fellow, he began his teaching career in science before moving into U.S. History, emphasizing critical thinking, context, and informed choice.
Curt grew up in the Kansas City area and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas. His professional background also includes roles as a due diligence specialist for a private student loan company and a benefits analyst for a Houston-based startup—experiences that strengthened his analytical skills and attention to detail.
Drawn to Colorado’s lifestyle and values, Curt later moved to Fort Collins to attend Colorado State University, earning a degree in Landscape Horticulture, followed by time in the golf course industry. He ultimately returned to school to earn both a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master’s degree in History, reinforcing his lifelong commitment to learning and service.
